Switch OLED confirmed to be hackable on Day 1, but tread carefully
Multiple hacker sources have confirmed that the new Switch OLED can be hacked, using the same modchips that can be used on patched and/or V2 Nintendo Switch models.

Chinese youtuber “Youkan Papa” has showcased the Switch OLED running Hekate perfectly (video below), using what seems to be the Team Xecuter modchip. It’s not entirely surprising that Hekate runs on the OLED Switch, as support for the latest Switch console had been added in 5.6.0, about 6 weeks ago.
In parallel, all-consoles-scene hacker Balika011 has published a series of tweets showing he’s got a hacked OLED Switch as well.
Scene member @KawlunDram has also confirmed some of the original findings from folks such as SciresM, namely that “The DP2HDMI chip on the Switch OLED dock is a RTD2172N KBDQH1”.
Switch OLED – Atmosphère not completely ready yet
SciresM warns that CFW Atmosphère is not ready for the OLED Switch though, and that people attempting to run Atmosphere on the newest Switch could run into serious issues. Unless you really know what you’re doing, don’t attempt this if you are currently in a position to run hacks on your OLED Switch.
Conclusion – Can I hack my Switch OLED?
Long story short, the Switch OLED doesn’t bring significant differences to the hardware table as far as exploits are concerned, which means that the existing TX modchips, and possibly the HWFLY clones, work out of the box on these devices. The issue remains that the TX modchips have been out of production (and will remain so) since the Team Xecuter folks have been arrested, and the clones are notoriously hard to find and expensive given how effectively Nintendo have been hunting down all retailers of these products.
