[PSP Scene] Apollo Save Tool (PSP) v1.0.0 released

Published a new update for the PSP version of Apollo Save Tool , the tool developed by the developer Damián Parrino allows us to download, unlock, correct and resign the save data of games directly from the console.

 

The program comes of age by featuring the same functions and features recently introduced on PlayStation Vita , PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles .

 

Also on PSP you will be able to edit the save data through the hexadecimal editor, while the Web Server will allow us to transfer the saves over the network from one PSP console to another.

Installation

No special setup is required, just simply download the archive .zipand install it on your PSP console. On first run, the application will detect and configure the required user settings.

Data Folders

PSP Directories
External saves Savegames must be archived to:/APOLLO/SAVEDATA/.
Saves on Memory Stick Saves will be scanned from ms0:/PSP/SAVEDATA/.

 

Note: Game-specific save keys are required to decrypt PSP save files. You can dump the required keys using PSP plugins, such as: SGKeyDumper or Deemer .

 

  1. Install the plugin on the PSP console (in ms0:/seplugins).
  2. Enable the plugin using the recovery menu.
  3. Launch the PSP game and let it load/save so the plugin can download the key.
  4. Once you download the key, Apollo will detect it and use it as needed to decrypt, encrypt, patch or rehash your PSP save.

 

Tip: If you have the PSP save keys, use Dump Save-game KeyApollo’s option on the PSP save, then share the file gamekeys.txt so that all these keys can be added in the next release.

 

Usage

The use of  Apollo Save Tool is simple and immediate, similar in all respects to the version released for the PlayStation Vita console .

  • Press   and  to select the save file you wish to patch and press the key . The patches screen will show the available fixes for the file. Select the patches and click Apply.
  • To view the item’s details, press  . The context menu will open on the screen. Press the button   to return to the list.
  • To reload the list, press  .
  • Press the activation buttons   and   or   and   to move pages up or down.

Online databases

The application also provides direct access to Apollo’s online database for downloading PlayStation Portable (PSP) game save files. These usually offer additional features like completed games which can save you many hours of gameplay.

The Database Online project aims to add more savegames  shared by the community.

Note: Downloaded save files must be resigned using Apollo before loading into games.

Answer:  Apollo was the twin brother of Artemis, goddess of hunting. Since this project was born using the  Artemis-GUI codebase , I decided to respect that legacy by naming it Apollo.
