Sistr0 has pushed an update to the Webkit version of the FTP Server Payload (FTPS5), bringing it to version 1.3. This version adds Read/Write support for the System_ex partition. A compiled binary can be found on Echo Stretch‘s github (link below)

What’s FTPS5

FTPS5 is an FTP Server for your hacked PS5. It allows you to browse, copy, and modify the content of your PS5’s hard drive from the comfort of your own PC.

This version is specific to the Webkit exploit for PS5. New version 1.3 adds read/write support for the System_ex folder (R/W access to that folder was already possible on the BD-JB version of the payload).

What’s in system_ex?

Some critical files live in that folder, so make sure you make a backup before touching anything. As usual, unless you know exactly what a file on your PS5 does, do not modify or delete it.

As the name implies, this folder contains files required by the PS5 System to run. This can include, but is not limited to, assets used by the main menu such as sounds, firmware for the Dualsense controller, and more.

As a reminder, you will need a hacked PS5 to run the exploit. We have a few hints here on where to buy one.
