PS Vita Release: Purified, by Balder – FuHEN contest entry
We’ve talked about Purified before. It was impressive back in 2021 for the PS Vita, and it still is today. Developer Balder has chosen to finally release an alpha of the game, as part of the FuHEN PS Vita Homebrew contest, and I’m telling you, if you have a Jailbroken Vita you’ll want to try this. Definitely a solid contestant for the competition.
There’s been a continuous stream of entries released for the FuHEN contest over the past week, and you might have noticed that I barely mentioned them. I got busy, and then I got sick, so bear with me, I’ll do my best to talk about as many of those games as I can!
What is Purified for PS Vita
From the developer:
Purified is a third person wave based shooter with the goal to run a smooth 60 on Vita hardware!
The official soundtrack is composed by my friend Brian Czernikowski! This version is by no means the finished game, I still have quite a bit to do, but it is what can be considered a feature complete Alpha.
There’ll be more levels, weapons and enemies as I continue to develop and release updates!
Download and Install Purified for PS Vita
As a reminder you will need a hacked PS Vita to run homebrew games. Hacking your PS Vita is a super easy and safe process nowadays (our guide here).
Installation instructions
From the developer:
- Install through VitaShell like you would anything else.
